With a strong aversion to having her image captured, she’s still working on getting a photograph for the website (the therapy is doing wonders). We promise that she does, in fact, exist.

Morten Rand-Hendriksen
Co-creator, Web Guru, and Master Problem Solver

Although born and bred in Norway, Morten has been calling Canada home since 2002. With a degree in Philosophy and a cynical but lovable disposition, he offers a one-of-a-kind perspective on the world and everything within it.

Morten also writes for a gadget site (AndNowYouKnow.net), works as the technical producer for a major sports TV network, runs the digital media company Pink & Yellow Media, and of course, most importantly, is Angela’s favourite slave. What? Didn’t we mention that he’s a cybernetic organism?

The lack of a visual representation of Morten (also Mad Morten) is due to sheer laziness.

She’s a little bit prep, a little bit gangsta, and one hundred percent ready to tell you what she thinks.

Stasia is a twenty-something Ottawa native who followed her heart west just over a year ago. She likes long walks on the beach, quiet talks by the fire, and a good Will Ferrell movie. Her pet peeves include the Skytrain, having to go back alternately to the heat and ridiculous humidity, or the skin freezing, mind numbing cold of Ontario to visit her friends…and the texture of rice pudding.

An amateur runner, a loving girlfriend/daughter/sister, and an easterner at heart, this one’s got an opinion on just about everything and you probably shouldn’t engage her unless you’re ready to hear it. But she’s always (sometimes) got something intelligent (long-winded) to say and you’ll be thankful (wondering how you got yourself into this mess) to hear it.

After deciding yet again that her current career path just wasn’t “it,” she decided to seek something more. Writing has always been a hobby of hers and all of her writing ambitions were realized with her assignment as the Super Product Reviewer for Dabbler.ca. She takes her role seriously and will try just about anything new if you ask her nicely enough.

Aarti Vaid

Aarti loves to read…and write. And with a degree in English Lit and Comm Studies, it’s about all she’s qualified to do. She’s tried other things…crepe chef, restaurant manager, editor, retail wench, pastry chef, host, server, PR executive, marketing coordinator…but they all involved being ‘nice’ to other humans. Not her favourite pastime.

Born in the Middle East to Indian parents who put her in a British private school and then moved her from Dubai to the South of Russia, Toronto, Vancouver and now Seattle, her cultural heritage is best described as ‘confused.’ She loves to bake, play pool, gamble, laze in the sun and indulge in socially-unacceptable geekery with her boyfriend.

Fair Warning: Aarti can be a snob about literature, clothes, shoes, restaurants and just about everything else under the sun. No one is surprised that the career counsellor recommended ‘critic’ as her perfect occupation. On the upside, she loves a good debate, so engage her in battle in the comments section. ‘One will stand, one will fall.’
