These taste just like my Swedish grandmothers cookies! I’ve searched for a couple of years to find ‘that’ recipe…and I’ve tried many. This one is “IT”. Thanks for sharing this recipe. It’s perfect.

This is one of the first internet recipes for anything that I’ve got to work… Thanks for such clear information, especially about the flour and that the cookies will be soft when they come out. Really helped an infrequent baker like me But thanks most of all for some great pepperkaker! Verdens beste.

i’ve been searching high and low for a good pepperkaker recipe, and this one is it! i made these cookies today, and they turned out great! i also added a little cardamom to the recipe, which also tastes christmas-y to me. thanks for posting this!
