Immediate relief for a wasp sting can be attained by applying a paste made of meat tenderizer and a little water. Leaving this on for at least a half hour will take away pain and itch. If part of a stinger remains in the skin, apply a poultice such as stale bread wetted with milk, to safely draw the stinger out; repeat if necessary. Look out for a rash or swelling that gets worse instead of better. If this happens, contact your doctor.
