War It’s heavily promoted with tags like “Vengeance is the Ultimate Weapon” and “One Wants Justice, the Other Wants Revenge,” but no matter how you describe it…it’s boring. War stars Jason Statham and Jet Li, marking the second time the actors have worked together on a film (the first one being The One I haven’t seen The One The most exciting parts for me were catching glimpses of Vancouver landmarks in various scenes. I have to admit, I think I spent more time paying attention to the background than following what was actually going on in the movie. And despite the much needed distraction, I still managed to predict the ending half-way through. This movie is formulaic to a fault, unbelievable (as if this could happen in real life) and…boring. There’s no other word that describes it better than just…plain…boring. I strongly recommend not watching War, even when it airs on TV. You will kick yourself for wasting 103 minutes plus coming attractions on this mess. Leave a Reply |
