i just used your new nice and easy foam hair dye and i hope that the rest of your products do not become foam, i was so anxious to try it and i have used the same colour for a copuple of years and i am not impressed with the new foam. for 1 its more expensive and it leaves my hair dull and not the same dark brown and the last same one i used. i have alot of gray roots and its almost like they are a lighter shade than the rest of my hair. i am thinking of switching to another company for my dye because clairol is not doing it for me anymore

I used Perfect Ten and had to cut all of my hair off to a pixie cut, and only left it on for 5 minutes because it burned my eyes and nose so badly. My scalp has been itchy and burning for 3 days since I dyed it. I have been applying olive oil and advocados to add moisture back to my scalp because it is flaking off. How could a company let their buyers be exposed to such toxic sludge.stay away from Perfect 10, Run for your life.

wow, this is horrifying. i just used the dark blonde color on light blond trying to go back to my natural color. my hair felt tangled and straw like and i dropped some solution on my shoulder and it broke out in hives. I am hoping it wont get worse, i have never in my life had a reaction to hair dye…

This produce is a waste of time and money. I have naturally pale ash blonde hair which was a bit greyish after this Winter. I picked up colour 9A for Â£7 and excitedly used it as I had read so many amazing reviews. WRONG. My hair is now orange and very brassy, I am UTTERLY DISAPPOINTED. Don’t buy this product if you’re as gullible as I am. It’s wrecked my locks. ):

i was in the hospital twice for the hives this product caused i had welts and hives and rashes from head to toe on my body was give oral prednisone and benadryl and when that didnt work it was given introveneously, i went home yet to return the next day as the hives for progressively worse, i was on steroids for 6 days, my throat started to close and was given an epipen and rx anthihistamines. NEVER USE THIS PRODUCT!!!!! i also had a welt on the botton of my scalp that became the size of a small baseball, i guess i will be grey…..

I used this product 5 weeks ago. I have fine, THIN hair and this dye made my hair thicker, fuller, healthy. I am naturally blonde and used the lightest blonde. Color wasn’t exactly as box, but not too bad. Only downfall? It lasted only a week and a half. Color came out waaaaay too quick. If not for that, I’d be a regular customer of this product.

i just bought this a few days ago. sounded like a great hair dye to try after i had my hair color glossed at the salon for 65.00 and LOVED IT!!! my hair was a darkkk brown with alot of shine..but only looked so nice for about the 1st 3-4 days then it got alot lighter and started to show my golden brown to fast so i went and grabbed me this box & one other. Now since i read the horrrrrible reviews it is def goin back! i only got it cause it sais glossy and i was hoping it would last longer for a cheaper price. if it’s that bad..hopefully others will look elsewhere to keep your beautiful hair in it’s best possible shape & leave this product on the shelves, glad i can get my money back..cause it was pricey!

I AM EXTREMELY, EXTREMELY, NOT HAPPY WITH THIS PRODUCT AT ALL, I HAVE BEEN USING CLAIROL PRODUCTS FOR YEARS AND FOUND THEM OK FOR A QUICK FIX INBETWEEN SALON VISITS, I PURCHASED PERFACT 10 THE OTHER DAY, YES I DID THE SKIN TEST, YES I DID THE PATCH TEST, ALL OK, WENT ON TO COLOUR MY HAIR, AS I ONLY NEEDED A QUICK TOUCH UP I ONLY USED A QUARTER OF THE PRODUCT AND ONLY LEFT IT ON FOR 5 TO 6 MINUTES, DIDNT HAVE MUCH OF A PROBLEM WITH IT AS I WAS RINSING IT OUT, IT DID LEAVE MY HAIR DRY AND DULL, THOUGHT OK I WONT USE THAT ONE AGAIN, HOWEVER A FEW HOURS LATER WHEN I WAS AT A WEDDING IT STARTED TO ITCH, IT WAS ITCHING TO THE POINT I WANTED TO PUT MY HEAD IN THE ICE BUCKET TO COOL IT DOWN, I WENT HOME AND HAD A LOOK AT MY NECK, TO MY HORROR I NOTICED MY EARS AND NECK WERE FULL OF BLISTERS AND MY EARS WERE TWICE THE SIZE THEY SHOULD BE, I PUT SOME COOL WATER ON MY NECK TO COOL IT DOWN AND WENT TO BED, THE NEXT MORNING I WOKE UP AND MY HAIR WAS STUCK TO THE SIDES OF MY FACE WHERE ALL THE BLISTERS WERE WEEPING, AS IT WAS THE BANK HOLIDAY WEEKEND I COULDNT GET TO SEE A CHEMIST, IT WAS GETTING REALLY BAD, I STAYED HOME ALL DAY WANTING TO PUT MY HEAD IN THE FREEZER, THE NEXT MORNING I WOKE UP AND MY HAIR WAS STUCK TO THE SIDES OF MY FACE AGAIN, WORSE, I HAD NO CHOICE BUT TO TRY TO PUT MY HAIR IN A LOOSE BAND AND GO TO WORK, I WAS FEELING A BIT SICK AND SHAKEY TO, MY WORK COLLEGUE WAS HORRIFIED WHEN I SHOWED HER THE DAMAGE IT HAS DONE, BY THEN I WAS FEELING REALLY SHAKEY, AFTER DINNER BREAK I WENT TO THE LOO AND AS I WAS WASHING MY HANDS I THOUGHT ID BETTER HAVE A LOOK IN THE MIRROR SEE HOW BAD IT WAS, I WAS NOT LOOKING IN THE RIGHT MORROR I THOUGHT, I WAS IN SHOCK AT THE SIGHT OF IT, MY FACE HAD DOUBLED TO THE SIZE IT NORMALLY WAS AND MY EARS WERE EVEN BIGGER, I LOOKED LIKE A MONSTER, AND THE PAIN WAS UNBELIEVABLE, I RACED OVER TO MY COLLEGUE AND SHE CALLED THE DOCTOR WHO SAW ME WITHIN THE HOUR, I WAS ITCHING ALL OVER TO, HE TOOK ONE LOOK AT ME AND SAID WOT SALON DID THIS TO YOU ITS HORRENDOUS, AFTER A WHILE WITH THE DOCTOR TRYING TO CALM ME DOWN I WENT HOME WITH STEROID CREAM FOR MY EARS ANTIHISTOMINES FOR THE SWELLING AND ANTIBIOTICS, AND A WEEK OFF WORK AS IT IS THAT BAD, THAT WAS YESTERDAY, I AM IN A LOT OF PAIN AND LOOK HORRIBLE, I CANT EVEN WASH MY HAIR AS IT IS THAT PAINFULL, AND WEEPING, I CANT SAY HOW UPSET I AM ABOUT THIS, I AM NEVER GOING TO USE THESE PRODUCTS AGAIN, AND FOUND THAT THE COMPANY WERE USLESS AND DIDNT REALLY CARE, DOES ANYBODY KNOW WHAT I CAN DO ABOUT THIS.

Re: hair turning gray, adding color to already bleached hair isn’t easy and is best done professionally – simply using a darker shade will often result in a mess because there is a very specific manner in which the pigment in the hair can be built up again. (I learned this the hard way just as many of you of course). In a salon they often use two different dyes, first to add some warm tones into the hair and then the darkener to feed off the established tone – you definitely can’t just use a dark blonde dye on light blonde hair and expect it to look like it does on the package.

Same rules apply when you are trying to switch from very dark to very light – it simply doesn’t work with an over-the-counter coloring kit.

I used Perfect 10 as an alternative to my usual L’Oreal preference, to touch up my roots and to freshen up my lightest blonde hair tone. I found that despite the nice smell it by no means surpassed L’Oreal products, but I didn’t have any horrible experiences with it either. The hair looks quite shiny and the tone is very even. I did feel the tangled mess a bit, but that was easily resolved with a couple of rounds of conditioning washes – nothing unlike any other drugstore brand other than L’Oreal. All in all, I will probably not be using this product again as a first choice, but it’s not a bad alternative if it happens to be on sale.
